Widdington Hall Farm is a stretch on the River Ouse, controlled by Bradford No.1 Angling Association. Fishing is for members only, with no day tickets. Species include roach, bream, perch, chub, dace, gudgeon, ruffe, bleak, pike and barbel. Night fishing is not allowed: club rules stop fishing an hour after sunset.

2026: Senior (20-64) £65, Intermediate (17-19) and Ladies & Senior Citizens (65+) £40, Junior (under 17) £5, plus a £20 entrance fee if not a member in 2025 (juniors exempt). Half price from 1 October. Runs 1 Jan to 31 Dec.

No night fishing. Bradford No.1 rule 52: no fishing from 1 hour after sunset until 1 hour before sunrise, except at night-permit venues (Knotford and Kirklees Lagoons only).

From the A1(M) take the A59 towards York, turn left after 4.5 miles up Pool Lane (signed Nun Monkton). Follow the lane just under 2 miles, then turn left on Rooke Lane. After 3/4 mile at the T-junction turn left, follow the road past Widdington Hall Farm and park on the verge around the corner.
