Wickham Knight Bridge is a stretch of the River Kennet running from about 750 m upstream of Wickham Knight Bridge No 30 to about 750 m downstream of the bridge, at the Salmon Cut, controlled by Twyford & District Fishing Club and shared with British Airways Clubs Angling Society (BACAS). Fishing is for club members only. Species include barbel, chub, perch, bream, roach and dace. Night fishing is permitted.

TDFC 2026-27 (16 June 2026 to 15 June 2027): Senior (18-64) £126, Concession (65+) £105, Junior (17 and under on 1 June 2026) £20. Club page says prices include the one-off joining fee and key deposit; it also lists a £45 joining fee (waived until 31 October) and a £20 non-refundable access key deposit. Apply via Clubmate.

Day Ticket £

No day tickets. Members' guest permits £12 (dawn to dusk, member must accompany), from Woodley Tackle Box or online at tdfc.org.uk.

Night Fishing

Club venue page lists the Kennet as open 16 June to 14 March inclusive with 'No restrictions'; club guests may only fish dawn to dusk. Confirm night fishing with the club before relying on it.
