Tush Pool & Village Front Stretch is a stretch on the River Ribble from concrete 'tush' at the top of the allotments (upstream limit) to rocks upstream of the farm, approximately in line with St Wilfrid's Church (~320 m (~0.20 mi, ~350 yards)), controlled by Ribchester & District Angling Club. Day tickets are available: Day tickets from the SPAR shop in Ribchester (opposite the Black Bull), cash only. Adult coarse and trout only: GBP 8.00. Adult salmon and sea trout: GBP 12.00. Junior (under 14), coarse and non-migratory trout only: 50p. Tickets must be bought IN ADVANCE - not sold on the bank. A day ticket runs midnight to midnight; anglers may buy two consecutive days to fish through the night. Species include Barbel, Chub, Dace, Eel, Salmon, Trout, Sea trout, Grayling, Pike, Roach. Night fishing is permitted.
