TIDAL — Acaster (Naburn Weir to Salmon Hut) is a stretch on the River Ouse, from Naburn Weir to the Old Salmon Hut, controlled by York & District Amalgamation of Anglers (YDAA). Fishing is for members only, with no day tickets. Species include roach, bream, chub, barbel, carp and salmon. Night fishing is not allowed.

Adult £49 renewal / £59 new (incl. £10 joining fee). Senior 65+ £32 renewal / £42 new. Junior 8-18 free with a family adult membership, otherwise £14. Disabled £30 (via Treasurer). Runs 1 Jan to 31 Dec, half price after 1 Oct. Holiday books: 7 days £22, 16 days £35. Listed by YDAA as game permit water (game permit £140, waiting list).

Parking

Parking Information

A64 towards Leeds, off for Bishopthorpe/Copmanthorpe, follow signs to Acaster Malbis. Intake Lane or Mill Lane to the sharp bend and slipway, follow the track downstream past the moorings to the gated access at the top of the weir; park just inside the gate. Parking usually available once the hay is cut (late July). Driving the riverside track is at your own risk. TIDAL: don't park or set up where rising water can cut you off.
