TIDAL — Besthorpe (above and below Iron & Steel AC) — Scunthorpe Amalgamated Anglers (SAA) is a stretch on the River Trent, from Above Iron & Steel AC 15-peg stretch at Trent Lane end, Besthorpe to Below Iron & Steel AC 15-peg stretch downstream boundary, controlled by Scunthorpe Amalgamated Anglers (SAA). Access is by club membership only, with no day tickets available. Species include Barbel, Bream, Chub, Roach, Dace, Pike. Night fishing is permitted.

SAA 2026: Full (18-65) £65 + £30 joining fee (new members). Senior (66+) £55 + £30 joining fee (new). Intermediate (18-20) £40 NEW. Concessions £55 (Blue Badge/emergency & armed services — email proof to scunnyangling@gmail.com). Disabled veterans: FREE. Membership card (optional): £6.50. Membership: 12 months from date of purchase. Via Clubmate. Junior (u18): must be sponsored by existing adult SAA member, family member only or written parental permission. Day Ticket £

Day ticket: £5 online (scunthorpeanglers.co.uk) | £7 on bank from bailiff (wearing SAA clothing + photo ID). Juniors (u17) FREE but must be with adult ticket holder (max 2 juniors). Adult must hold valid day ticket — criminal offence not to.

Night Fishing
