Thrumpton (opposite Thrumpton Estate) is a Nottingham Piscatorial Society members-only stretch on the left bank of the River Trent, sitting directly opposite the AAC Thrumpton Estate water. The fishery runs for approximately 20 pegs along a gravelled path and is accessed via Pasture Lane, Long Eaton. Night fishing is permitted for a maximum of one night — consecutive nights are not allowed. Parking is limited to 6 cars in the NPS designated area alongside the otter fence. An NPS lock is required for both the carp fishery gate and the foot access gate — both must be locked behind you.

NPS designated parking area — 6 cars max alongside otter fence adjacent to carp fishery. Access via carp fishery gates at end of Pasture Lane (NPS lock — must lock gate behind you). From Main Street Long Eaton take Meadow Lane then Pasture Lane.
