Swinithwaite is a stretch of the River Ure at Swinithwaite, around the Bishopdale Beck confluence, controlled by Jervaulx Fly Fishers. Fishing is for club members only. Species include brown trout and grayling. Night fishing is not permitted.

Annual membership through the club. Charges are not published as they can change: ask the Secretary. No joining fee at present. The club keeps a waiting list and has vacancies each year. Under 12s are free but must be accompanied by a guardian who is a club member; under 18s sponsored by a member pay a heavily reduced rate.

No day tickets. Members can buy guest tickets but must accompany their guests.
