A stretch on the River Severn on the right bank. Large sweeping inside bank of a 180° right-hand bend in the river, upstream of Shrewsbury town. Members only — annual membership £40. Species include Barbel, Chub, Roach, Dace, Pike and Perch. Night fishing available.

Shrewsbury Anglers Club (SAC). 2025/26: Membership £40/yr (raised from £35 at Nov 2024 AGM). Capped at 275 members (raised from 250 in 2023/24 following end of Winsford Anglers reciprocal agreement). Waiting list — periodically closed, reopens for following season; do not email about joining until after season starts 16th June. No day tickets. Renewal deadline 15th March or moved to back of waiting list. CONFIRMED from shrewsburyanglersclub.co.uk/rules/: 'Night fishing is allowed on all river sections' (club-wide rule covering all six SAC river stretches). Up to 5 nights specifically permitted at Pimley Manor. Rods must not be left unattended; if sleeping, rods must be wound in. Respect for noise/torches near local homes required.
