Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club

Scotland Road is a stretch of the Bristol Avon running from the Scotland Road footbridge to the Wiltshire Youth Canoe Club, controlled by Avon Angling Club (Melksham). Day tickets are available, so you do not need to be a member to fish here. Species include bream, roach, chub, perch, pike, carp and tench. Night fishing is not permitted.

Day Ticket £

2026-27 (club Facebook, 19 June 2026): £4 adult; £2 senior/junior. Cash only from The Tackle Company, Melksham — buy before fishing. The only exchange tickets valid on club water are two with Calne Angling Club; other clubs' exchange tickets (including Frome & District AA) are not valid (club, 28 June 2026).

King George V Park behind Evie's Kitchen (free; SN12 7ED), an easy walk to the canoe club end, or the pay-and-display car park next to the weir (SN12 6LL). No parking at the canoe club or on its approach road.
