Romaldkirk is a stretch of the River Tees through the ancient woodland of the Shipley and Great Woods SSSI between Eggleston Bridge and Cotherstone, held by Romaldkirk Anglers, a private syndicate of up to 25 members. It is not open to the public; anglers can enquire about a vacancy. Species include brown trout, grayling, sea trout and salmon. Night fishing is not published, so assume it is not permitted.
