Roecliffe Bottom is a stretch of the River Ure running from the caravan site on Bar Lane, Roecliffe to about 140 m downstream, controlled by Bradford City Angling Association. Fishing is for club members only. Species include chub and pike. Night fishing is not permitted.

2026 (1 Jan to 31 Dec): Adult £49, Concessionary £33, Junior (16 and under) free, Part Year £39.50 incl. joining fee. New members aged 17+ pay a £15 joining fee. Guest Day Permit £8 (member must accompany, book online).

No day tickets. Members only (members may bring a guest on an £8 Guest Day Permit).

Night Fishing

No. Fishing only from 8am or 1 hour before sunrise (whichever is later) until 9pm or 1 hour after sunset (whichever is earlier).

Park on Clay Pit Lane in the industrial estate opposite the caravan park. Pedestrian access only through the caravan park (sign the guest book at reception on arrival and departure); a combination lock or key opens the gate in the riverside fence.
