Roecliffe A1 Bridges is a stretch of the River Ure running from about 800 yards above the club car park to the former railway below the A1 bridges, controlled by Bradford No.1 Angling Association. Fishing is for club members only. Species include pike, perch, roach, dace and bream. Night fishing is not permitted.

Season Ticket £

2026 membership (1 Jan to 31 Dec): Senior £65, Ladies and Senior Citizens 65+ £40, Intermediate 17 to 19 £40, Junior £5, plus a £20 entrance fee for Senior, Ladies, OAP and Intermediate. Half-price membership from 1 Oct. Members can buy £5 privilege tickets to bring a guest (daytime, member present).

Day Ticket £

No public day tickets (Bradford No.1 day tickets cover only Harold Park and Chellow Dene). £5 privilege ticket for a member's guest.

Night Fishing

No. Bradford No.1 Rule 52: no fishing from 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour before sunrise, except named waters and night-permit holders; Roecliffe is not one of them.

From the A1 Boroughbridge junction head towards Boroughbridge, first left at the first roundabout, follow the old A1 road across the next roundabout; entry is 200 yards on the right through a gate and down a track to the parking area. No key needed.
