The River Witham from Stamp End Lock in Lincoln to Kirkstead Bridge is about 15 miles of navigable river controlled by Lincoln & District Angling Association, past Washingborough, Fiskerton, Bardney, Southrey and Stixwould. A £5 day ticket covers it, so you do not need to be a member to fish here, and the ticket lets you move between LDAA venues. Species include bream, roach, rudd, perch, tench, carp, pike and eels. Night fishing is permitted for members only.

Season Ticket £
LDAA annual membership: adult (17-64) £50, concessionary (65+ or disabled rod licence) £35, junior (13-16) £10, under-13s free. Valid one year from purchase. Closed season 15 March to 15 June. Members may fish 24 hours on this water.
Day Ticket £
£5 day ticket, dawn to dusk, booked online in advance through LDAA's Clubmate. One ticket lets you move between LDAA venues.
Night Fishing
Members may fish 24 hours. Day ticket holders fish dawn to dusk only.

The club's main access points: 2.5 Mile at the end of Ferry Lane, Washingborough LN4 1AT (cross the footbridge over the South Delph to the river; park considerately in the village); 5 Mile at Five Mile Bridge, end of Five Mile Lane LN4 1AF (some pegs can be reached by car); and Bardney Lock, LN3 5UN, what3words ///disgraced.changed.achieving. No parking on the banks.

No fixed pegs. The club says there are lots of places to fish along this water and the whole bank is fishable at its 2.5 Mile and 5 Mile access points. At Bardney Lock, fishing is only allowed under the bridge and on the side opposite the lock. Avoid moored boats; the boat moorings at Washingborough, Fiskerton Fen, Bardney village, Southrey and Kirkstead Bridge can be fished October to March only.
