The River Bain at Watermill Basin in Horncastle is a short council-run riverside walk past the Bain Car Park, with casual fishing points along about 450 metres of bank. No permit is needed beyond a valid Environment Agency rod licence. The Bain here holds chub, roach, dace and brown trout.
