Birmingham AA's Ripple and Birds Meadow water above Tewkesbury — very deep, with bream shoals, chub and roach in fair numbers, a few big barbel and excellent pike and zander. Members can drive along the bank at Ripple when conditions allow. Members only — annual membership £50. Species include Bream, Chub, Roach, Pike, Zander and Barbel. Night fishing by BAA permit.

Ripple: A38 south from M50 J1, right at sign for Dawley Caravan Park, follow signs for Red Pools Farm, BAA signs to riverside. Members may drive along bank to park behind pegs when conditions allow. TWO combination gate locks (sleeper bridge and fence gate) — code on BAA membership card. Birds Meadow: M50 J1, A38 south, right down lane next to Tewkesbury Garden Centre (before Ledbury turning). Park at bottom of hill or drive into field. Gate lock code on BAA membership card. WARNING: Garden Centre access track CLOSED (structural safety) — check baa.uk.com/news before visiting.
