Red House (Bottom section) is a stretch on the River Ouse, from the dead 'Big Tree' below the sandbed to Killingbeck (about halfway between Red House and Poppleton), controlled by York & District Amalgamation of Anglers (YDAA). Day tickets and club membership are both available. Species include barbel, bream, roach, perch, carp and tench. Night fishing is allowed for members by prior arrangement.

Season Ticket £

Adult £49 renewal / £59 new (incl. £10 joining fee). Senior 65+ £32 renewal / £42 new. Junior 8-18 free with a family adult membership, otherwise £14. Disabled £30 (via Treasurer). Runs 1 Jan to 31 Dec, half price after 1 Oct. Holiday books: 7 days £22, 16 days £35.

Day Ticket £

£6 per day (YDAA standard day ticket).

Night Fishing

Members only, by prior arrangement. Notify the Treasurer by email or text (no calls) at least 24 hours before with name, membership number, car registration, venue and date. Max 24 hours, no return within 12 hours. No night fishing for juniors.

Parking Information

Same parking as Red House Middle (grass triangle before Red House Manor). Alternative route: walk through the estate buildings and the paddock on the left to the Big Tree. Close all paddock gates (horses).
