From
Left bank upper limit above Eyton Rock, near Eyton-on-Severn (also separate right bank stretch below Cressage Bridge)
To
Left bank ends at Cressage Bridge; right bank runs from Cressage Bridge down to where the river meets the abandoned railway
A substantial PAAS water at Cressage, Shrewsbury — 3 miles of left-bank fishing opposite the Cound Estate water, ending at Cressage Bridge, plus a further 2 miles of right-bank water from Cressage Bridge downstream. Banks mostly too overgrown for fly fishing except at the upper end. A superb mixed game and coarse fishery, noted for salmon and barbel, and also a good chub water. The fishing near Cressage Bridge is particularly good for specimen barbel and fine roach, and is a good salmon water too. Access for older members is good at Cressage Bridge itself.
