Chissell's Stretch

Purchases and Chissels is a stretch of the Dorset Stour running from Freestretch to Chissell's Stretch, controlled by Wimborne and District Angling Club. Fishing is for club members. Species include pike, chub, bream, roach, perch, dace and bleak. Night fishing is not permitted.

WDAC annual membership: Adult (18–65) £135; OAP/Disabled (65+) £110; Junior (16–17) £35. Purchase via wimbornefishing.com.

Day Ticket £

Not applicable — no day tickets. Guest tickets available via the club's website.

Night Fishing

No night fishing. Coarse season 16 June to 14 March. Dogs, game fishing and disabled facilities are all available here.

Brook Road, BH21 2BH (what3words: heats.busy.fists) — from Wimborne town centre take the B3073 towards Canford Bottom roundabout, after approximately 1 mile turn right onto Brook Road and park there. Alternatively park in Oakley Lane (BH21 3AF, what3words valley.scribbled.valid), but note the club's map warns that from Oakley Lane YOU MUST CROSS THE SWING BRIDGE to reach the fishery. Walk to the end of Brook Road, turn left at the river and walk downstream; access to the fishery is through the gate just past the flyover bridge. No designated parking, no toilets, no club key needed, no disabled access. Guest tickets available.
