Manfield Scar

Piercebridge is a stretch of the River Tees running from just below Piercebridge bridge to Manfield Scar on the Yorkshire bank, controlled by the Association of Teesside and District Angling Clubs. It is fished by members of Darlington Brown Trout AA, Stockton Angling Ltd, Thornaby AA and Yarm Angling Ltd. Species include barbel, chub, dace, roach, perch, grayling, brown trout and salmon. Night fishing is not published, so assume it is not permitted.

ATDAC water is fished on an ATDAC card, which you can only get through a member club: Darlington Brown Trout AA, Stockton Angling Ltd, Thornaby AA or Yarm Angling Ltd. 2026 ATDAC fee: £12 full member, £6 ladies, pensioners and juniors, on top of the member club's own subscription (Thornaby AA seniors £48 + £12; Yarm men 21+ £55 + £12; DBTAA senior £55 + £12; Stockton A Section £58 + £12).

No day tickets. ATDAC water is for members of the four member clubs only.
