Osbaldeston Hall and Dobridding Wood

Room for SIX CARS ONLY, chevron style against the farm building - if six cars are already there you must leave the water. A PAAS car sticker must be prominently displayed and a PARKING FEE left on the bonnet (amount in the Membership Card). No access to the car park or farm before 6am; members must leave by 10pm. ROUTE: off the A59 Preston-Clitheroe road just east of Mellor Bridge; at Osbaldeston crossroads turn north for the Hall via Osbaldeston Lane; at the T-junction turn right and continue through Parkgate (PAAS sign) and past the Equestrian Centre, then follow the partly un-fenced track to Osbaldeston Hall, about two miles from the main road. The last part is very steep with a hump mid-track - take care to avoid sump damage. At the farm bear slightly left and drive slowly through the farmyard. ACCESS TO THE WATER: walk straight ahead to the river and go left; a gate at the far left-hand end leads to the water - this is the ONLY access. Members must NOT access the water from the downstream limit.
