Mead Farm is a stretch of the Bristol Avon running from Lacock Bridge to the start of Queenfield Farm Fishery six fields downstream, controlled by Amalgamated Fisheries Ltd. Day tickets are available, so you do not need to be a member to fish here. Species include barbel, bream, chub and roach. Night fishing is permitted.

Season Ticket £

2025-26 (latest published; permits valid until 1 June 2026): annual permit for all lakes and rivers £85; Senior (65+) £70. 2026-27 prices not yet published on the club's Join Us page (checked October 2026).

Day Ticket £

2025-26 (latest published): day permit £8 from the permit agents before fishing — not sold on the bank. Valid on all AFL venues except Tockenham Reservoir and the Swineford/Crane/Jack White's stretch.

Night Fishing

Club page: "Night fishing is by special permit only." Night fishing only for annual permit holders who also hold a Night Permit (£85 2025-26; limited numbers; Committee approval; application form on the Join Us page). Standard membership cards do not allow night fishing.
