Two combined PAAS waters (192 and 102) forming a continuous stretch of well over 3 miles between Offa's Dyke and The Breiddens, off the beaten track in an attractive stretch of the Welsh Borders with plenty of bird and animal life. 15–20 yards wide, full of bends and horseshoes, lying between Offa's Dyke and maintained levees. Open and devoid of trees, though shrubs and nettles can hamper access; high banks demand care in wet weather. Good streamer weed beds in summer. A fair salmon length with good pools on the bends; coarse fishing is good and underused, suiting a roving approach over sitting one swim. Minnows can be a summer nuisance.
