Littlethorpe Deep Water is a stretch of the River Ure running from the field above the Ripon Canal junction to peg 192 at Bishop Monkton, controlled by Ripon Piscatorial Association. Day tickets and memberships are available. Species include dace, roach, perch, bream, chub and pike. Night fishing is not permitted.

Season Ticket £

Same RPA membership as the streams section: adults £70 a year (£75 first year), ladies/concessions/intermediate £35, juniors £15 (membership year April to April; year not printed on the page).

Day Ticket £

£6 per day from AM Fly Tying, Gills Autos, the White Horse pub (Ripon) or online.

Night Fishing

River rules limit fishing to two rods during daylight hours.

Bank side through Littlethorpe chicken farm: through Littlethorpe village, turn off at the church, follow the road to the top of a mile long straight, at the 90 degree bend turn left through the chicken farm and follow the track left to the end at the top of the hill by the river.
