Little Hanford

From Blandford take the A350 to the traffic lights at Durweston Bridge, turn left onto the A357 to Shillingstone (3 miles). In the village take the 2nd right after the speed limit boards into Hine Town Lane, to roadside parking near Honeysuckle Gardens. Walk up the lane on foot to the five-bar metal field gate on the right, follow the track, cross the tarmac footpath, through the gateway into the field and over the footbridge — 50 yards of river upstream and 1300 yards downstream from the footbridge. DO NOT obstruct access to private premises in Honeysuckle Gardens.
