Limpley Stoke — upstream of the weir pool and the Hop Pole Inn

Limpley Stoke to Freshford is a stretch of the Bristol Avon running from towards Avoncliff to Limpley Stoke above the weir pool and the Hop Pole Inn, controlled by Avon and Tributaries Angling Association. Fishing is for club members. Species include barbel, chub, roach, perch, dace, bream and pike. Night fishing is not permitted.

Club handbook rule 35: fishing after dark (half an hour after sunset) and before dawn (half an hour before sunrise) is strictly prohibited.
