Langthorpe is a stretch of the River Ure running from the bend above Mulwith Farm to the A168 and A1(M) bridges at Langthorpe, controlled by Bradford City Angling Association. Fishing is for club members only. Species include chub, pike and roach. Night fishing is not permitted.

2026 (1 Jan to 31 Dec): Adult £49, Concessionary £33, Junior (16 and under) free, Part Year £39.50 incl. joining fee. New members aged 17+ pay a £15 joining fee. Guest Day Permit £8 (member must accompany, book online).

Day Ticket £

No day tickets. Members only (members may bring a guest on an £8 Guest Day Permit).

Night Fishing

No. BCAA rules 43 and 5: no fishing between one hour after sunset and one hour before sunrise; night fishing only at Shipton and Staveley lakes and some Swale stretches.

Brampton Hall: from Newby Hall main entrance follow signs for Brampton and Mulwith Farm, use Mulwith Lane and park on the concrete standing at the farm (no cars to the river). Langthorpe end: park on Skelton Road just east of the A168 and A1(M) overbridges, or under the A1(M) at the end of the padlocked access lane (code sent to members).
