Willsbridge Brook (Jack White's Cottage / Londonderry Farm)

Jack White's is a stretch of the Bristol Avon running from the lock gates at Keynsham to Willsbridge Brook, controlled by Bristol & West of England Federation of Anglers. Fishing is for members of the Federation's member clubs (Keynsham AA, Crosshands AC, Amalgamated Fisheries and Alcove AC). Species include carp, bream, chub, pike, roach and barbel. Night fishing is not permitted.

2026-27: Federation water — members of its member clubs only: Keynsham AA (2026 calendar-year licence £20, reduced for the rest of 2026; 2027 licences on sale from 1 December 2026); Crosshands AC £70 (membership year 1 May – 30 April); Amalgamated Fisheries Ltd £85, over-65 £70 (2025-26 permit valid to 1 June 2026; 2026-27 price not yet published); Alcove AC 2026-27 via ClubMate (price not published; waiting list). No day tickets.

Parking Information

Access via the public footpath by the Lock Keeper pub; ample parking near the marina. AFL: limited access to the middle of the stretch from Londonderry Farm off the A4175 — park respectfully and walk about a quarter of a mile to Jack White's Cottage.
