Hanford is a stretch of the Dorset Stour running from Hanford to Havelins (about 1.25 mi), controlled by Ringwood & District Anglers Association. Fishing is for club members. Species include roach, chub, bream, perch, pike, eel and carp. Night fishing is not permitted.

RDAA annual membership 2026/27: Adult £200, Disabled/Senior £145, Junior (12–17) £75, Under 12 £30; new members pay a one-off joining fee (£30 adult/senior, £10 junior). Add-ons: Night Permit £60/year, third rod £50. Subscription changes take effect 1 April. Renewals via the Membership Secretary, online or by post — not at tackle shops. Coarse season 16 June – 14 March.
