Birmingham AA water at Hampton Loade — fast flowing and fairly shallow, with barbel and chub in the deeper runs between the shallows. Members only — annual membership £50. Species include Barbel, Chub, Roach, Dace, Perch, Pike and Salmon. No night fishing.

Night permits: £10/night (certain venues only, members only, from BAA HQ in advance). Guide book: £2 from tackle dealers / £4 from BAA HQ.

National Trust car park at the ferry, Hampton Loade — no fee for BAA members. The car park gate opens at 8am and is locked at 6pm; call the BAA office for the gate code if you need earlier access.
