Gas Works Length, Matlock is a stretch of the River Derwent, controlled by Matlock Angling Club. Fishing is for club members. Species include brown trout, grayling, chub, barbel, perch, dace, roach, bleak, minnow and carp. Night fishing is not permitted.

No joining fee, no waiting list. Two-rod permit £5/yr (apply to D. Greatorex).
