Fulford (sand bed) is a stretch on the River Ouse, from the open sand bed below the Pumper (by the village green) to the kissing gate at the start of YDAA Captain's Key, controlled by City of York Council (free fishing). Fishing is free with an Environment Agency rod licence. Species include roach, bream and perch. Night fishing rules are not published, so check locally before fishing after dark.
