Fobney Meadow is a stretch of the River Kennet running from Fobney Island end of Beat 3 to White Bridge, controlled by Reading & District Angling Association (RDAA). Fishing is by club membership or day ticket. Species include barbel, roach, perch, chub, bream, pike and dace. Night fishing is permitted.

Season Ticket £

RDAA 2026-27 permits (permit year runs to 31 March; prices as published on rdaa.co.uk, Oct 2026): Annual Adult (17/18-65) £90; Senior 65+ and registered disabled £67.50; Junior permits available (6-11 must be accompanied, dawn to dusk only; 12-17 need a free unaccompanied junior card from the Hut). Night-fishing tiers: Bronze £165 (or Adult-to-Bronze upgrade), North £270, South £375, Platinum £535. Exchange permits free to adult members (Hartley Wintney AS, Godalming AS, South Cerney AC, Civil Service AS).

Day Ticket £

RDAA Non-Member Day Permit £10 (River/Canal Day Ticket), daylight hours only; excludes all lakes, Upper/Lower Benyons, Wallingford A and shared venues. Members' guest permit £10 (one per day, dawn to dusk, guest within earshot). Venue page: guest and day tickets available.

Night fishing on Bronze/South/North/Platinum permits only.
