Riverside car park at the London Road entrance, behind the former Shaws Arms pub (279 London Road, Preston PR2 5AX), by the side of the Ribble. Further access points off Brockholes View (PR1 4XJ) and Ashleigh Street, and via the Fishwick Recreation Ground on London Road. SAFETY: anglers repeatedly report vehicle break-ins at the car park behind the petrol station here, with anglers' cars specifically targeted; local advice is to park on the bridge instead, where there is high visibility and CCTV, and to leave nothing on show in the vehicle.
