Eccliffe Mill pool

Eccliffe (Mill and upstream) is a stretch of the Dorset Stour running from Common Mead Lane to Eccliffe Mill pool, controlled by Gillingham & District Angling Association. Day tickets are available, so you do not need to be a member to fish here. Species include chub, roach, dace, perch, grayling and trout. Night fishing is not permitted.

G&DAA annual membership: Senior (18–65) £75; Over 65 or disabled £65; Junior (14–17) £25; under 14 free (membership still required). River ONLY annual membership £40, covering the Upper Stour stretches. River season 16 June – 15 March. Memberships run 12 months from the date of payment.

Day Ticket £

River day ticket £6, open to any angler, for the G&DAA Upper Stour stretches, 16 June – 15 March. Book via the club's Clubmate site.

Two pull-ins off the road on the mill bridge. Parking is also available at Eccliffe Equestrian Centre, subject to agreement with them on EACH visit — please ask for permission at their office.
