Dunsforth Lodge is a stretch of the River Ure running from the left-hand bend below Lower Dunsforth to opposite the end of Scarer's Lane, controlled by Bradford City Angling Association. Fishing is for club members only. Species include barbel, chub, perch and roach. Night fishing is not permitted.

2026 (1 Jan to 31 Dec): Adult £49, Concessionary £33, Junior (16 and under) free, Part Year £39.50 incl. joining fee. New members aged 17+ pay a £15 joining fee. Guest Day Permit £8 (member must accompany, book online).

Day Ticket £

No day tickets. Members only (members may bring a guest on an £8 Guest Day Permit).

Night Fishing

No. BCAA rules 43 and 5: no fishing between one hour after sunset and one hour before sunrise; night fishing only at Shipton and Staveley lakes and some Swale stretches.

Parking Information

At the end of the road by Lower Dunsforth Hall (park tidily), or by the river when the track is passable; in wet weather the farmer allows parking in the farm yard against the black silage bags (leave your name and mobile number on the windscreen). Access through the 2nd gate on the left past the Lodge at the start of the unmade track (Scarer's Lane), then across fields.
