Birmingham AA's Danery and Farthings Meadow water south of Bridgnorth, noted for barbel with pleasure catches over 100lb and fish to 10lb. Danery is on the left bank, reached on foot from the A442 lay-by by the bus stop past the Danery pub; Farthings Meadow is on the right bank below the bypass bridge, parking in the lay-by on the Eardington road. Members only — annual membership £50. Species include Barbel, Pike, Roach, Chub and Dace. No night fishing.
