Croft Bridge to Hurworth is a stretch of the River Tees running from Croft Bridge down to Hurworth, controlled by Thornaby Angling Association. Fishing is for club members. Species include chub and grayling; the club calls it mostly coarse fishing for most river species. Night fishing is not published, so assume it is not permitted.

Thornaby Angling Association membership, due 1 January. 2026: men 18 to 65 £48 plus £12 ATDAC (£60), ladies 18+ £36 plus £6 ATDAC (£42), 65+ £36 (ATDAC £6 optional), age 13 to 18 £12 (ATDAC £6 optional), under 13 free. The 2026 form adds an entrance fee for new members (£25 senior men, £10 ladies and 65+). No waiting list in 2026.
