Church Deeps is a stretch on the River Ribble from Ribbleside Farm to Melling's Wood, controlled by Southport & District Angling Association. Day tickets are available: Ribbleside Farm sells a maximum of two day tickets per day, first-come first-served, no reservations. National close season applies (15 March–15 June). Species include Barbel, Bream, Pike, Carp, Roach, Dace, Chub, Perch, Eel, Gudgeon. Night fishing is not permitted.

Full Southport & District Angling Association membership - see sdaa.org.uk. Access to the Ribble waters is by SDAA key issued with membership. No day tickets except the limited allocation at Ribbleside Farm.

Day Ticket £

Ribbleside Farm sells a maximum of two day tickets per day, first-come first-served, no reservations. National close season applies (15 March–15 June).

Night Fishing

NOT PERMITTED. SDAA state plainly: fishing is dawn till dusk only, no night fishing.
