Christchurch Harbour

Christchurch Harbour is a stretch of the Dorset Stour running from Tuckton Bridge to Christchurch Harbour, controlled by South West Lakes Trust. Day tickets are available, so you do not need to be a member to fish here. Species include carp, roach, dace, pike, bass, sea trout, mullet, chub, perch, eel and bream. Night fishing is permitted.

Season Ticket £

SWLT season tickets, valid 1 year from purchase, VAT included, no concessions: Bank Fishing (single) £100; Boat Fishing (single) £100; Boat Fishing (two persons) £175; Boat/Bank (single) £175; Boat/Bank (two persons) £350. Purchase online via swlakestrust.org.uk. RDAA membership separately covers bank fishing here for RDAA members.

Day Ticket £

SWLT day tickets, bookable through the Catch app only since 16 November 2023: Bankside Day (single, 07:30 to sunset) £13; Bankside 24hr (single, 24 hours from 07:30) £20; Bankside Evening (4pm to sunset) £7; Junior Bankside Day (14–17 inclusive) £6; Boat Day (single) £20; Boat Day (two persons) £32. An adult day ticket allows two junior anglers aged 13 or under to accompany free of charge, supervised at all times. No concessions on day tickets and no weekly tickets.

Night Fishing

SWLT: no coarse fishing between 15 March and 15 June. Boat and bankside day tickets run 07:30 to sunset; a Bankside 24hr ticket runs 24 hours from 07:30, which is the route to legitimate night fishing here. RDAA members fish sunrise to 2 hours after sunset, or with an RDAA night permit.

Pay and display car parking in the Christchurch area, plus toilets, disabled access, local shops and cafes. Riverlands Car Park at Tuckton is free between 1 November and 1 April.
