Catholics is a stretch of the Dorset Stour running from Marnhull to Fifehead Magdalen, controlled by Gillingham & District Angling Association. Day tickets are available, so you do not need to be a member to fish here. Species include chub, roach and dace. Night fishing is not permitted.

TWO SEPARATE ACCESS POINTS. Pegs 43–50 (what3words: supply.amphibian.brightly): the hard-standing car park at St Marys Catholic School, Old Mill Lane, Marnhull, DT10 1JX — park under the trees, and on the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the church car park as tight as possible. Pegs 52–62 (what3words: venues.astounded.mainframe): on the verge of the concrete road, reached by turning on the bend — PLEASE CLOSE ALL GATES. BE AWARE that farm vehicles use this access, so park so as not to cause any obstruction. The concrete road parking serves pegs 62 down to 55; 'Mucky Gate' is a landmark on this access.
