Birmingham AA's Buttington Bridge water near Welshpool in two sections: the left bank above Buttington Bridge, and the right bank around Maginnis Bridge by the Powis Arms, up to the church access. Good game and coarse fishing on fly or bait, with plenty of salmon (all returned — NRW byelaw). Members only — annual membership £50. Species include Salmon, Trout, Grayling, Pike, Dace, Chub and Barbel. No night fishing.
