Bowesfield is a stretch of the River Tees running from just below Preston Park down the Stockton bank to just above Surtees Bridge, controlled by the Lower Tees Angling Association. It is fished by members of Stockton Angling Ltd, Thornaby AA, Yarm Angling Ltd and Middlesbrough Angling Club. Species include bream, roach, dace, perch, chub and pike. Night fishing is not published, so assume it is not permitted.
