Bathampton Weir Pool and Manor Waters is a stretch of the Bristol Avon running from Bathampton weir to the Meadow Farm boundary, controlled by Amalgamated Fisheries Ltd. Day tickets are available, so you do not need to be a member to fish here. Species include barbel, pike, chub, roach and bream. Night fishing is permitted.

Season Ticket £

2025-26 (latest published; permits valid until 1 June 2026): annual permit for all lakes and rivers £85; Senior (65+) £70. 2026-27 prices not yet published on the club's Join Us page (checked October 2026).

Day Ticket £

2025-26 (latest published): day permit £8 from the permit agents before fishing — not sold on the bank. Valid on all AFL venues except Tockenham Reservoir and the Swineford/Crane/Jack White's stretch.

Night Fishing

Night Permit holders only: AFL night permits (£85 in 2025-26; annual permit holders only; limited numbers; Committee approval; apply to the Fisheries Administrator) cover all AFL lakes and rivers except Shackells Lake and the Swineford/Crane/Jack White's stretch. Standard cards do not allow night fishing.

From the old A4 in Batheaston turn down Toll Bridge Road, cross the bridge (50p toll) and turn into the Bathampton Mill car park; park just inside the entrance, not down by the restaurant.
