The Barbel Society's Pixhams Ferry water, almost a mile of prime lower Severn on the right bank opposite Kempsey, with famous swims such as Green Door, Cables and Wasps Nest and barbel to nearly 16lb. Barbel Society members only, with a fishery permit (£45) on top of membership (£45). Species include Barbel, Pike, Roach, Chub and Perch. Night fishing available.
